Catered Chalets Davos - Switzerland
Truly a great place for skiing
The Davos-Klosters region offers more than 320 km (almost 200 miles) of magnificent ski runs, making it one of the largest ski areas in the world. Davos is roughly two hours drive from Zurich and about an hour from St. Moritz if the Fluelapass is open. Davos has extensive slopes and a wide variety of runs spread over five or six effectively separate areas. The well known, long intermediate runs of the Parsenn area; being able to visit a different area every day; lots of off-slope potential and some excellent mountain restaurants are the plus-points that make visitors come back to Davos time and again for a luxury ski holiday. For those seeking challenging skiing, Davos is the resort! In winter the weather is generally calm, and the glorious sunshine makes it possible to sit in the open air even when the temperature is below zero. Apart from magnificent luxury catered chalets in Davos, Leo Trippi also offers luxury apartments for rental, as well as luxury chalets and luxury apartments on a self-catered basis.

Activities
Restaurants, nightlife, museums, and a good variety of shopping possibilities add to the area's attractions. Because of all this activity Davos lacks the village charm of Wengen or Zermatt. However, it is a magnificent area for skiing, outclassing quieter venues like Mürren or Arosa if you are person that loves the hustle and bustle of city life.
Davos and Klosters share a large network of clearly marked pistes with excellent skiing for all levels of skiers. Davos has some exceptionally long and fairly easy runs away from the lifts; a large number of off-slope, with lots of well-marked itineraries and some short tours; good cross-country trails and plenty to do off the slopes. The exhilarating non-alpine sports activities include snowboarding, sledding, tobogganing, paragliding, curling, winter hiking on cleared paths, indoor swimming, and ice skating at a three-rink Eisstadion that has hosted the World Figure Skating Championships and professional hockey teams.
