Zürs is small and refined with a few shops. The high altitude makes it a skier’s paradise with magnificent snow. It is top of the range in ski-guiding and ski-school. There is a network of approximately 20 km of winter footpaths with several viewpoints along the way. Lech, on the other hand, is a little mountain village, full of character, well preserved in its original size. Oberlech is a car-free town, well worth visiting in summer as well as winter. Renting one of the catered ski chalets, Lech / Zurs, provides memorable luxury winter holidays because there is always something going on: ski- or snowboard contests, art and culture events, local history museum or concerts for every taste. In wintertime there are also some highlights to enjoy like the acoustic fireworks in Zürs, the White Ring ski race, the Bregenz Festival in the snow, the Lech Mountain Trophy, and of course the Spring Festival in Oberlech. But there are also many cosy side-events with a lot of arts, music and culture. The resort also has its own kindergarten.
