During the annual Pasture Drive, colourfully decorated sheep, Haflingers and cows make their way to their stalls to the amazed looks of hundreds of spectators. Skiing: 2 car minutes to the Spieljoch lift stations and about 6 car min to the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area with 129 medium to difficult slopes and 37 blue slopes, well suited for beginners. Hiking: Zillertal is one of the most diverse hiking destinations there is. The spectrum begins with hikes near to the picturesque valley floor, which rises gently and only branches off to the four side valleys at Mayrhofen: Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stillupgrund and Tuxertal Biking: anyone who has ever cycled into the crystal-clear mountain air of Zillertal knows that there is scarcely a better place for bikers anywhere in the world.
