Megève offers over 300 km of pistes, linked with the neighbouring ski area of St. Gervais. It is an ideal resort for families with many inter-connected slopes (as in the Trois Vallées) and with 75% of slopes either intermediate or beginner. There is also excellent cross-country skiing. Polo enthusiasts should not miss the January Polo Masters. Megeve is a paradise for window-shoppers and for people who want to enjoy a ski resort without necessarily skiing all day. There are fantastic restaurants both on and off the pistes and there is a lovely outdoor ice-skating rink, centrally located in town. Guests can enjoy a horse driven tour of the town or just sit back in one of the luxury ski chalets for rent in front of a log fire with an intriguing book. Megève, well placed for day trips to Geneva, Courmayeur, Martigny and Annecy, is ideally situated luxury winter holidays.
