The chalet is located on the site of an old "Bergerie" or Shepherd's shelter dating back to the 17th century. This unique chalet has been renovated with many of the original features blending traditional wood and stone with modern facilities. The chalet has a wonderful location: 2 minute drive or ski to the main ski lifts and 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the resort centre.
FULL DESCRIPTION
The vaulted ceiling of the open plan sitting / dining room gives a sense of space without losing the warmth of the room created by the open log fire, and complimented by the rich colours and textures of the carefully hand-picked furnishings.
This ski in/ski chalet, has 4 king size / twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a small interconnecting room, ideal for a child or nanny. The 5th bedroom has its own private bathroom. In addition to the spacious open plan sitting / dining area, the chalet provides for a state of the art cinema room complete with a Nintendo Wii.
Chalet Le Bergerie offers a secluded hot tub and terrace with a spectacular view of the Roche de Charvet and a private massage/treatment room . There is also a ski room including boot warmers.
