The location is unique, the décor is stunning and the layout is perfect. The house, designed by renowed architect Magali von Tscharner, was built in December 2008 and parades sumptuous fabrics and rich wood in palates of charcoal grey, cream and white, all combining to form a luxurious and chic alpine retreat.

The beautiful open plan living room, complete with a roaring fire, and the dining room create a feeling of comfort and light. Large south-facing balconies extend from each floor, offering the perfect spot to recline and survey the breathtaking views. The study area provides telephone, computer, printer and wireless Internet facilities for guests at Maurice.

The chalet sleeps 12 guests in 6 spacious bedrooms spread over three floors. Four of the bedrooms have direct Matterhorn views and the master bedroom is truly spectacular, occupying the entire top floor and featuring an open fire and a high pitched ceiling. All the bedrooms have twin or super king size beds, en suite bathroom facilities, Sky television and a balcony or terrace.

The modern interior is complemented by all the essential facilities needed to revitalise spirits: massage room, sauna, outdoor hot tub; and to ensure no unnecessary energy is used when off the slopes, a funicular lift provides access to the chalet.

The chalet provides the perfect holiday for the whole family – grandparents, parents and grandchildren. The skiing is superb, the hot tub in the unique surroundings is a defining experience, and the games, toys, books and treasure hunts make it a very special week for the children too.
