This chalet, which dates from 1930's, is at the end of a small mountain road and has recently been restored (in 2005). By car, you are 5 minutes from the centre of town. Situated in a clearing in the forest, next to one of the ski slopes of Crans Montana, this location is unique if you are looking for soul and character, an ideal escape for ski and nature lovers alike. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle for guests in this chalet.
FULL DESCRIPTION
The interior offers a sense of the owners' love for this chalet: fine art and family memorabilia blend with old wood, fine carving, and warm fabrics to create a warm and cosy environment. Very gifted carpenters did most of the wood work restoration and the result is delightful.
The ground floor entrance of this romantic chalet leads to the living room with a fireplace and flat screen television, a study and a second smaller family living room. Sliding doors in the living room allow a modulation of spaces. The dining room has a large dining table providing seating for 8. The small living area hosts a dining table for 10. The kitchen, with a table-bar in the centre, is one of those that cooks will love and the rest of the family will want to hang out in. A laundry and a staff bedroom with 2 single bunkbeds can also be found on this level including a separate bathroom with shower and WC.
The first floor houses the master bedroom with a television and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub, as well as 2 other bedrooms, sharing one bathroom. A children's bedroom with 4 twin beds is situated on the 2nd floor, in the eaves. This bedroom has a separate WC but no bathroom.
The exterior of the chalet provides covered parking for one car, a ski room and a technical room.
