In the year 2004 Zurs won the Entente Florale and we are pround that we can name ourself "most beautiful village of Euope 2004".
Lech consits of different districts which all have their different advantages. Lech, Oberlech and Zürs, as the main districts, offer a bright variety of holiday solutions, whether you search for silence, want to party all night or prefer to ski-in ski-out, this area can guarantee a holiday that suits you well. Lech and Oberlech are close to each other, Zürs is around 4 kilometers away, towards St Anton and almost on the Flexen Pass, but there is no reason why anyone should miss the comfort the other district; there is the skibus running for free during daytime and the James bus service in the night hours Zurs is even more exclusive than Lech, with no hotels of less 3-star standing, and a dozen 4-star and 5-star hotels around which life revolves. There are few shops.

There is always something going on in Lech and Zürs: ski- or snowboard contests, art- and culture events, local history museum or concerts for every taste. In wintertime there are also some highlights to enjoy like the acoustic fireworks in Zürs, the White Ring ski race, the Bregenz Festival in the snow, the Lech Mountain Trophy, and of course the Spring Festival in Oberlech. But there are also many cosy side-events with a lot of arts, music and culture.
The resort also has its own kindergarten.
