Zip off to Whistler for dumps of snow!

Whistler, British Columbia in Canada, has one of the best snow records of any ski resorts in the world and one of the longest seasons. Year on year, Whistler consistently delivers that lovely powder that we all enjoy so much. There has never been a better time to visit Whistler, with record snow and the weakest exchange rate in 15 years. While Europe has had recent snow, the underlying snow base is still relatively thin this year. In the meantime Whistler has already had more than 830cm of snow this year, and we still have another two months of snowfall to go! Our base is at 266cm at 1700m – twice that up top!

In addition to the fantastic snow, Whistler is considered the largest linked ski area in North America. The fantastic Peak to Peak gondola links Whistler and Blackcomb mountains make access to the whole ski area extremely easy.

Whistler, on Canada’s West Coast, is just two hours north of Vancouver by road. The spectacularly scenic journey through the Sea to Sky Corridor is the perfect start to a mountain vacation, and getting here is easy with access to several international airports and a range of airport transfers. Vancouver is truly a great city. Plus, a couple of days there at the start or end of your trip to Whistler, will extend your holiday.

Heli-skiing at Whistler

Heli-skiing is off-trail, downhill skiing or snowboarding that is accessed by a helicopter, as opposed to a ski lift. The best part about heliskiing in Whistler is that the heliskiers can go right from their front door and non-heliskiers can enjoy in-resort skiing at Whistler or enjoying the amenities in the resort such as spas, shopping and cafes.

Now is the time to try Chalet Whistle!
