Serena Norton

Whether you’re looking to celebrate a milestone event or just searching for that ultra-exclusive chalet that will provide you with the luxury ski holiday of your dreams, we have some incredible private chalets in our portfolio that are sure to meet your needs. We have picked out some of the best private chalets in the Alps offering tranquility, exceptional service and some of the finest facilities you will find on the mountain.

Chalet N, Lech

As one of the world’s most expensive ski chalets, it is no surprise that this seriously impressive property has it all. From bulletproof windows and designer fireplaces to state-of-the-art wellness facilities including a hay sauna and colour therapy shower, Chalet N is the go-to property for the ‘A’-list.

Set on the slopes of Oberlech, the views are outstanding, particularly from the enormous furnished terrace and outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the slopes. The interiors are sleek but homely, combining steel, stone, leather and velvet with bespoke lighting, faux-fur throws and an ultra-modern sound system. The wine cellar is one of the finest we have seen in a chalet and there is also a stylish home cinema to boot.

It is the spa though that is the real ‘wow’ factor here. You are sure to lose several hours to the beautifully-lit pool, scented steam room, hay sauna, waterbeds and various treatment rooms. Fully-serviced with a team of professional staff on hand to ensure you don’t have to lift a finger, Chalet N really is one of a kind.

"The arresting design of the wine cellar makes every trip for fresh supplies an experience in itself."

The Grand, Kitzbühel

Grand in name and grand by nature, The Grand is located in the sunny Aurach region of Kitzbühel. Palatial in size and amenities, The Grand was brought to life by interior design specialists Landau + Kindelbacher. Set over four floors, the chalet offers uninterrupted views of the entire valley and an impressive array of facilities.

TVs are revealed at the touch of a button from behind paintings and an enormous garage doubles up as a home cinema and entertainment area. The sumptuous spa though is the real highlight. Slip off your ski boots and straight into the colour therapy jacuzzi/plunge pool or rejuvenate those aching muscles in the glass steam room or sauna.

The bedrooms suites are huge, particularly the master suite which occupies the whole of the top floor and comes with its own living room, dressing room, bathroom and sauna. Several of the other suites also have their own seating areas, dressing rooms and free-standing oval bathtubs.

Chalet Ormello, Courchevel 1850

Renovated by architect Christophe Tollemer in 2015, Chalet Ormello is the chicest of chalets, located just a few steps from the Bellecôte piste and three-minutes from the centre of Courchevel 1850. Worlds away from its former life as a traditional barn, Chalet Ormello has entertainment and relaxation on tap with its superb spa featuring an indoor counter-current pool and state-of-the-art cinema room.

The chalet can sleep up to 15 people across nine stunning suites making it ideal for a large family gathering or special occasion. A chef, butler and their brigades cook you a la carte menus daily while a whole host of staff including ski valets and a 24-hour chauffeur service take care of all your other needs. Guests staying here also have access to the facilities of Hotel Les Airelles including its six restaurants and Spa La Mer which offers everything from personal training to cryotherapy.

Chalet Mont Blanc, Megeve

Situated on the Jaillet piste, Chalet Mont Blanc is a ski-in/ski-out chalet with a difference. Spanning an incredible 1,200m², the chalet has every luxury facility box well and truly ticked. The comprehensive list includes an outdoor infinity pool, indoor pool with jet streams, sauna, hammam, massage room and beauty salon. Not forgetting the well-equipped gym, wine cellar, seriously plush cinema room and private helipad.

Even the bedrooms are works of art with lavish dressing rooms and white marble bathrooms. Children will love the ‘sleepover’ vibe in their designated four-bed room whilst the lucky occupants of the master suite can curl up in front of the fireplace and admire the magnificent mountain vista through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Chalet Zermatt Peak, Zermatt

As soon as you set foot into the candlelit private tunnel leading to the main entrance, you know you have hit the heights of luxury. Perched high above the village with magnificent views of the Matterhorn, Chalet Zermatt Peak is centrally located yet utterly private and secluded. Set over six floors with floor-to-ceiling windows, the chalet seamlessly blends traditional alpine charm with contemporary design and architecture.

Both the bedrooms, living area and spa feature spectacular panoramic views, bespoke furniture and lighting and state-of-the-art technology. Partnered with world-renowned spa therapy experts ESPA, guests can experience blissful aromatic massages and signature treatments. On sunny days, the windows of the spa can be completely removed to include the terrace space and the Jacuzzi extended to the outside.

A private gourmet chef will create totally bespoke menus and there is an extensive wine cellar for those who fancy a glass or two whilst taking in the truly outstanding views.
