Luxury in Ibiza Private Islets: Hide away in nature, next door to Ibiza
With crystal clear waters, rocky islands, small coves and beautiful sandy beaches, it is hardly surprising that the wide variety of water sports on offer are always a firm favourite when it comes to adventure and sports on Ibiza. As well as the many excellent and fully qualified diving schools all around the island, you might also want to try your hand at water-skiing, kayaking, paragliding, windsurfing, paddle surfing, kite surfing or sailing. The stunning scenery and landscapes make hiking, biking and quad riding very popular.
Things you definitely should see when on your private island near Ibiza island includes Es Vedra, the mystical island rock off Ibiza's west coast; Atlantis, a hidden cove, but only if you can find a local who will tell you it's secret location, and the old part of Ibiza Town. Explore the many beaches all along the coast and the famous Hippy Markets. Visit Bar Anita in San Carlos, the historical venue where the artists and writers of the 50s, 60s and 70s used to collect their cheques and stop for a drink. Visit Cova de Can Marçà in Puerto de San Miguel, the biggest natural caves in Ibiza. Don't forget to try two local specialities: ensaimada, a soft pastry coil, and flao, a sweet cheese and mint flan.
