Along with Chalet Orca, Chalet Orso makes up Le Mouton à Bascule, a group of two exclusive chalets in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isère. Surrounded by pine trees and with incredible mountain views, Chalet Orso is the ultimate alpine retreat. Comprised of ancient wood and stone, the interior is beautifully designed, featuring traditional Arpin fabrics. The slopes are just 200m from the chalet.

Floored with heated "Lauze" flagstones, the entrance to the chalet is welcoming, with a spacious ski room where you can store your gear. The three floors plus a mezzanine can be reached via elevator or lift. The third floor of the chalet is home to an expansive open plan living area, with an ethanol fireplace and magnificent mountain views through huge windows. Doors open onto a large 40m² terrace complete with a Norwegian bath. There is an elegant dining area and a semi-professional kitchen which can be closed off from the main living area. Above the living room, with splendid views of the village, is a mezzanine games area equipped with table football, a pinball machine, an authentic jukebox with vinyl records and a 55" TV with games console.

Heading downstairs to the ground floor, you will find a superb spa with an indoor pool, spa bath, hammam and sauna. Those with energy to burn will enjoy the fitness room which is well-equipped and has a TV and high-tech sound system to keep you motivated whilst you work out. Outside is a terrace equipped with a brazier bar and heated Norwegian bath with a 220° view overlooking the entire valley. A custom-designed wine cellar stocked with fine wines is also located on this level.

Chalet Orso is able to accommodate up to eight adults and five children (under 12) across five bedrooms. The master bedroom is particularly special. It features an ethanol fireplace, office area, private balcony, spacious dressing room and a large Italian shower. The second and third bedroom each has an office area, an en-suite bathroom and a beautiful view of the Fornet forest. These two bedrooms can be configured as twins or doubles. The fourth bedroom on this level is perfect for children, featuring a bunk bed with a single bed at the top and double bed at the bottom, as well as two single beds. The fifth bedroom on the ground floor can be a double or twin and has an ethanol fireplace, dressing area and office space as well as an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bathtub.
