Just 7 km from the city centre of Brixen (Bressanone) lies Plose, a wonderful resort in both winter and summer. The resort offers over 40 km of slopes for all abilities bit is equally great for non-skiers with its beautiful winter walking trails and toboggan runs.

The slopes of Plose are varied, with 19 km of blue slopes, 14 km of red slopes and 10 km of black slopes. An absolute highlight is the Trametsch, South Tyrol's longest valley run (9 km) with a skiable vertical of nearly 1500m. The region is famed for its gastronomy with plenty of culinary delights on offer. Accommodation is offered both on the mountain and in the surrounding villages like St. Andrä. Brixen is famed for its Christmas market in the Cathedral square. You can expect mulled wine and almond pastries aplenty as well as all sorts of other Christmas treats.
