1. A team of staff to attend to your every need

You won’t need to lift a finger during a catered chalet ski holiday, allowing you to have a proper break from work and the hassle of daily chores such as washing, cooking and cleaning. In a catered ski chalet, you will have a team of staff at your disposal to assist you during your stay.

A concierge service will be available to make restaurant reservations on the mountain, organise any alternative activities and answer any questions you may have. Other members of staff may include a chalet host(s), a chauffeur to transport you to and from the slopes each day, a housekeeping team and of course, a private chef.

2. Bespoke menus to cater to everyone’s dietary requirements

Catered chalet ski holidays give you greater flexibility than you might imagine when dining in your ski chalet. Before you arrive in resort, you will usually be given the opportunity to speak with the chef and let them know your preferences, dietary requirements and types of cuisine you enjoy.

Whether you are wishing to have a four-course gourmet meal every evening or a simple supper, the chefs can cater to every eventuality. Many of our chalets offer themed nights such as Japanese or local specialities. At a catered ski chalet there is usually an open bar with a selection of beer, spirits and soft drinks as well as a choice of wines served with dinner.

3. Spend more time on the slopes

Embarking on a catered chalet ski holiday gives you more time on the slopes. There’s no need to waste time on a trip to the local supermarket for food, or tidying up after breakfast; just put your ski boots on and walk straight out of the door.

Often a chauffeur will be waiting to transport you to the slopes, so you don’t need to walk any great distance in your ski boots or queue at a busy bus stop.

4. Spend quality time with family and friends

Renting a luxury catered chalet gives you more time to relax with family and friends. The chalet’s team can organise fun activities to do together, from movie nights in the privacy of your chalet to enjoying some of the resort’s winter activities like dog sledding, snowshoeing or ice skating.

Leave the planning and organisation to someone else and focus on enjoying yourself and spending quality time with your family as well as making the most of the amazing facilities in your chalet.

5. Could be more cost-effective

With a catered ski chalet, breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner are usually included on five or more evenings per week. This allows you to have a better idea of the total cost of your ski holiday in advance. Buying food in resort supermarkets or eating in restaurants for lunch and dinner can all add up to more than you might think.

Plus there’s apres-ski drinks to factor in too and we all know how easy it is to get carried away…!
