The Leo Trippi Awards aim to celebrate some of the more unique elements of our luxury ski chalets. From the most unique bathtub to the most spoiling spa and best hidden chalet feature, discover which properties triumphed at this year's awards.

Most Unique Bathtub

CHALET LHOTSE, VAL D'ISERE

A deserving winner of the most unique bathtub category, Chalet Lhotse's striking bathtub is hewn from one solid piece of stone, weighs over a tonne and is so large the chalet had to be built around it.

Ultra-luxurious and family-friendly, this impressive chalet welcomes you into a warm and homely ambiance. In the huge semi-open plan living area, you are invited to nestle down on a large sofa in front of the open fire. Drinks can be enjoyed in the upstairs bar before you sit down for a delicious dinner prepared by a private chef.

Sleeping up to 14 guests in total, including two children, the chalet is perfect for family and friends holidaying together.

You're sure to have a restful night in Chalet Arula 1's majestic master suite, located on the top floor of the chalet. This spacious suite has its own lounge area and a private balcony from where you can admire the magnificent snowy slopes outside. Get ready for a day's skiing in your walk-in wardrobe and return home at the end of the day to a relaxing bath in the freestanding tub.

Located on the slopes of Oberlech, this stylish ski-in/ski-out chalet accommodates 22 guests in total, across nine bedrooms. As well as the superb spa facilities which include a 14-metre indoor swimming pool, infrared cabin, sauna, steam room and treatment room, the chalet is also home to a fantastic cinema room and an expansive wine cellar, ideal for hosting tastings.

Hours of entertainment are provided for guests staying at the exceptional Chalet Marco Polo. A games room with a pool table and darts board will bring out the competitive streak in the old and young. However, the highlight has to be the chalet's eight-person interactive racing game. Think Scalextric - but for adults!

Relaxation is also taken care of at Chalet Marco Polo, in the form of a gold-leaf covered pool designed by Christian Lacroix, a hot tub and a hammam. Aperitifs can be enjoyed in the bar area, or why not treat yourself to an evening spent cheese and wine tasting in the wine cave and fromagerie? Sleeping 10 adults and four children across six en-suite bedrooms, the chalet is located a few minutes walk from the village centre and the ski lifts.

Located in the heart of Courchevel 1850, this bright and spacious chalet is the perfect place to relax. Admire fabulous views through floor-to-ceiling windows or curl up beside the fireplace on one of the sink-in sofas. For those who wish to truly unwind during their stay, the spa at Chalet Les Bruxellois' is an impressive sight. Take a dip in the indoor pool with its mountain scenery backdrop, enjoy a treatment in the massage room or rejuvenate aching muscles in the hammam, sauna or Nordic bath. If that wasn't enough, there's a second Nordic bath and a barrel sauna on the terrace.

Chalet Les Bruxellois has seven bedrooms with a luxurious master suite situated on the top floor. There's also a family suite with a double bed and two bunk beds for children. Younger members of the group will love the games room, complete with billiards, table football and air hockey.

Whilst the interior of this stylish penthouse is sure to take your breath away, step outside onto the rooftop and you'll be amazed to find Niseko's largest private onsen with water piped straight from a volcanic source. Located in Upper Hirafu Village, the penthouse is perfectly positioned for accessing the slopes and offers breathtaking views of Mount Yotei from its three levels. A further private onsen can be found in the master suite, whilst two private massage rooms and a sauna provide other opportunities to relax and unwind.

Combining Japanese aesthetics with alpine touches, this lavish apartment accommodates 16 guests across seven beautifully-appointed bedrooms.
