1. Courchevel Adventure Camp

Children and adults alike will revel in the variety of activities on offer at Courchevel’s Adventure Camp near the Altiport. Under the watchful eye of a guide, try your hand at snowmobiling around a 700-metre closed track. Children (aged six and over) have their own special track to contend with. For a further adrenaline rush why not have a go at airboarding? This relatively new sport involves hurtling headfirst down the mountain on an inflatable sled-like cushion.

Courchevel is also home to some fantastic tobogganing tracks. Whizz down the 2 km track between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 or try the 3 km Grand-Prix style Moriond track with its challenging hair-pin bends .

The swimming pool and cinema room at Chalet Carat are sure to keep the younger members of the group entertained when they return to this luxurious chalet in Courchevel.

Every Wednesday evening between 6pm and 8pm, the Verdons gondola opens and the slopes and Family Park are open for skiing. With music pumping, ski down the floodlit pistes before enjoying dinner or a drink at Les Verdons mountain restaurant.

You can also take part in a torchlight descent; just strap your skis on and, following your guide, make your way down the piste in a torchlit descent. This is a simply magical experience as the flickering torches light up the slopes around you.

Warm up in front of the grand fireplace at Chalet Tahoe. Located just 30m from the piste, Chalet Tahoe is a mesmerising blend of modern decor and excellent facilities.
