Wasserngrat
With breathtaking views over Saanenland and authentic, locally-sourced food, Wesserngrat is the perfect place to refuel after exploring the ski runs of Gstaad.

A family-run restaurant, Wasserngrat serves a variety of cuisine, ranging from traditional Swiss meals to internationally infused dishes such as truffle ravioli and Thai prawn soup. Posthotel Rössli
In the heart of Gstaad sits the Posthotel Rössli , a stunning building, filled with alpine-style wooden furniture and traditional Swiss features. Situated in the pedestrian centre, this establishment is the oldest hotel in Gstaad, having been built in 1845. A family-run business since 1922, it is now the fourth generation who will welcome you upon your visit. Posthotel Rössli is very family-friendly and is a must for lovers of traditional Swiss and local dishes. So make yourself at home and enjoy one of the many meals on offer, from the truffle fondue to creamy mushroom veal with rössti.

Ristorant Bar Rialto
A favourite of many celebrities, this Italian restaurant can be found on the main promenade. Providing authentic Italian dishes such as lemon risotto and pan-fried mint scampi, Rialto’s menu is sure to make everyone's mouth water. For the sweet-toothed of the group, Charly’s is a must with its vast selection of homemade pastries and confectionery. A strong favourite for locals, this popular cafe is found next to the vast outdoor ice-skating rink on the promenade. Providing lighter food options, the cafe is ideal for breakfast and lunch with delicious options such as red curry, coconut and sweet potato soup to keep you warm on a cold winters day. Gildo's Ristorante
For authentic, upmarket Italian cuisine, head to Gildo's at Gstaad Palace. The restaurant is open in winter for dinner from 7.00pm to 10.30pm with two sittings at 7.00pm and 9.30pm.

La Bagatelle
Found in the hotel Le Grand Chalet, has been one of the best restaurants in Berner Oberland for 30 years serving classic French food made with top-quality ingredients. At La Bagatelle, the outside terrace provides breathtaking panoramic views while the inside has a cosy interior. Homemade terrine of duck liver and fig-mango chutney as well as saddle of lamb with thyme, are just two of the divine dishes on offer. Wine lovers will very much enjoy the extensive and well-chosen wine list too.

Megu
Fans of Japanese food will love this restaurant at Alpina Gstaad. Following the success of its flagship restaurant in New York, this venue is very popular with the community of Gstaad. From snow crab to seared scallops with truffle miso, this restaurant has a flavorful menu as well as the largest sake collection in Switzerland. The building’s interior is designed by none other than Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and incorporates many concepts from traditional Japanese houses and temples.

Ultima Gstaad Restaurant
If you're staying in Ultima Gstaad Residence, then you can enjoy a winter menu curated by head chef Andrea Franchesci in the hotel restaurant. The menu features seasonal and naturally grown ingredients from Aeolian Island prawns with a pink peppercorn emulsion, to tender Wagyu steaks with piquillo pepper foam balanced by sweet and sour red onion.
