One of the largest ski tourism events in the calendar, the World Ski Awards acknowledge and celebrate the very best names within ski hospitality. This year marked the seven-year anniversary of the World Ski Awards and the ceremony was certainly a night to be remembered!

We are delighted to have been awarded World’s Best Ski Travel Agent for the sixth year in a row. We strive to provide our clients with the very best Alpine properties and so are pleased to see that several properties in our portfolio have also won first place in their categories.

World & Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet: Chalet Les Anges, Zermatt

An outstanding contemporary property, Chalet Les Anges has won this coveted award for the third year in a row! Designed by renowned interior architect Magali de Tscharner, this property has magnificent views throughout, with six bedrooms providing uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn. Full of light, Chalet Les Anges has a cosy yet elegant interior, with a beautifully designed living room complete with a fireplace and grand piano.

Guests looking to relax after a day on the slopes will revel in the outstanding wellness area which includes a massage room, hammam, sauna and shower as well as a jet plunge pool. Located at just a 10-minute walk from the town centre, this property can accommodate up to 14 guests across seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms.

Austria’s Best Ski Chalet: Hahnenkamm Lodge, Kitzbuhel

A stunning ski-in/ski-out chalet, Hahnenkamm Lodge is perfectly situated at just 50m from the start line of the famous Hahnenkamm race. Set over four floors, this property has a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with vast floor-to-ceiling windows providing superb panoramic views. All five bedrooms at Hahnenkamm Lodge have their own living areas with en-suite bathrooms and the master bedroom even has its own spa. Located on the lower level of the property there is another spa area with a steam bath, Finnish pine sauna and relaxation space as well as a fitness suite complete with yoga and pilates equipment. Hahnenkamm Lodge can accommodate up to eight adults and four children across five bedrooms.

France’s Best Ski Chalet: Shemshak Lodge, Courchevel 1850

Set on the slopes, Shemshak Lodge is a family-friendly ski-in/ski-out property with incredible views and luxurious spa facilities.

Within walking distance of the shops, bars and restaurants of Courchevel 1850, Shemshak Lodge has a stunning open plan living area with a central fireplace and double-height ceilings. In the dining room, floor to ceiling windows provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape with French doors opening onto an extensive wrap-around terrace.

Decorated in tones of cream and beige, this property has five beautifully furnished bedrooms, including a master suite and a children’s bunk room. Shemshak Lodge has its very own spa complete with a large heated swimming pool, as well as a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, massage room and gym. The property can accommodate up to eight adults and five children.

Italy’s Best Ski Chalet: White Deer, San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge, Kronplatz

A true refuge in the heart of the Dolomites, San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge is surrounded by the untouched forests of Val Pusteria and has incredible views of the mountainous landscape. With its own helipad, and located just under an hours drive from the Kronplatz ski area, this property has a rustic yet elegant interior with vaulted ceilings and wooden decor. With four charming bedrooms on the first floor, San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge also has an extensive wellness area with a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath with chromotherapy and whirlpool. For wine lovers, the lodge has its own wine cellar with over 1,500 bottles of the finest wine. San Lorenzo Mountain lodge can accommodate up to six adults and four children.

Japan's Best Ski Chalet: Hakuchozan, Niseko

At just a seven-minute walk from the Grand Hirafu Village, Hakuchōzan has an ideal location and has been beautifully designed to suit all ages. With its stunning architecture, this property has an expansive living room and open plan dining area, making for the perfect space to come together as a family. Admire the breathtaking Mount Yotei through floor-to-ceiling windows as well as the hot tub vistas on the balcony.

Younger members of the group will love the media games room with an Xbox One and foosball whilst adults can enjoy a drink in the well-stocked bar. Hakuchōzan is able to accommodate up to 16 guests across seven spacious en-suite bedrooms.
