How do I get there?

Andermatt is a beautiful village in Switzerland’s Urseren Valley. This perfect holiday destination is only two hours by train from Zurich or Lugano. Located in the southern centre of Switzerland, Andermatt is easily accessible no matter where you’re coming from. The most scenic way of reaching Andermatt is from St. Moritz on board the world-famous Glacier Express.. Enjoy spectacular views as the train winds its way through some of Europe’s most beautiful scenery. Shortly after leaving St. Moritz the train passes Samedan and Bever on the high Engadin plateau, before entering the Albula Tunnel under the Albula Pass. After reaching Filisur at the end of the valley, the train continues along the Landwasser Viaduct, one of the main landmarks of the journey, before following the course of the Rhine from Chur towards Sedrun. Here the line becomes steeper to finally reach its summit, the Oberalp Pass at 2,033m, before descending into the village of Andermatt.

What is there to do in this paradise?

Characterised by its gorgeous terrain of rolling hills, mountains, the lush valley and sparkling ski slopes, Andermatt is simply brimming with possibilities.
