1. Ride through the snowy wilderness on a snowmobile

A unique winter activity, what better way to discover Morzine than by making your way through the snowy forests on a snowmobile high above the village at sunset?

With rides from 17:30 until 23:00, sessions usually last an hour with two guides on hand to help. Whilst drivers must be over 18 for the main rides, children can also partake in this adrenaline-fueled activity with electric snowmobiles for 4 to 10-year-olds and the possibility of 13 + year olds being able to ride on the back of snowmobiles driven by an adult.

Taking you through a combination of forests and piste trails, enjoy the tranquillity of nature as you create your own tracks through the snow.

2. Fly down the mountain on a toboggan at night

A fun activity for the whole family to enjoy, nocturnal sledding is a unique way to spend some extra time on the slopes once the lifts have closed. Taking place at the top of the Pleney, complete with a sledge and headtorch you will be ready to head down the mountain before enjoying a drink at one of the lively bars at the bottom of the slopes.

Taking place most evenings of the winter season, this exhilarating experience is not to be missed.

STAY: Chalet Goldilocks - a light and spacious family chalet with a barrel sauna, hot tub and fire pit.

Fans of ice skating will be able to enjoy two ice rinks in Morzine, with both an indoor and outdoor rink available.

Skate on the ice of the local Penguins, the Morzine-Avoriaz hockey club, and enjoy the large indoor 56x26m rink. The perfect place to practice your turns and stops, the outdoor rink situated on the Tourist Office square is also very popular during the winter season. Both rinks are accompanied by music and lights for some family fun on the ice.

STAY: Chalet La Maison - an exceptional townhouse with a grand open-plan living area, floating wine cellar & private spa.
