For attractive scenery and extensive skiing, Soldeu is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Grandvalira ski area in Andorra. With excellent ski schools, 210 km of varied terrain and excellent snow conditions, Soldeu is a fantastic choice for a luxury ski holiday in Andorra.
The village sits at an altitude of 1,800 metres and from here you can hop on the gondola which whisks you up to the main slopes in a matter of minutes. The resort is particularly popular with boarders due to its wide, gentle slopes, some good off-piste and is home to the best terrain parks in the Pyrenees.
Linking to Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa , Soldeu enjoys reliable snow cover with access to 303 km of slopes. The main local slopes are located on open mountainsides whilst freestylers have three terrain parks to choose from. Beginners benefit from excellent tuition at the Soldeu Ski school and can choose from over 60 green and blue runs. Experts can test their mettle on the legendary Avet, the 2012 Women's Skiing World Cup slope. With Soldeu’s village located at the base of the slopes, skiers have easy access to accommodation and plenty of shops for some post-ski retail therapy. The resort is also known for its lively apres-ski scene and cosy mountain restaurants.
