What the Press are Saying

"Besides the inevitable pool big enough for a neighborhood gym, there are six bedrooms with en suites and piste-view horizontal windows that look like the widest widescreen TVs you can imagine. The wooden dining table stretching along the al fresco terrace -- which overlooks distant Plovdiv, one of the world's oldest cities -- provides a rustic touch"

With the beginner-friendly blue slopes making up almost 60% of the slopes in Pamporovo, there is considerable opportunity for beginners to quickly progress. Combined with the highly-rated ski school and childcare facilities, Pamporovo is an excellent choice for families or those looking to dip their toes into the world of skiing.

For those intermediate skiers who are looking for a more relaxed ski holiday in Bulgaria, Pamporovo is also well known for its tree runs which are especially fun just after new snowfall. Once warmed up with a few runs up and down the mountain, head over to ski “Road Pamporovo” a 4 km run from the top of Mount Snezhanka winding its way in through the trees all the way to the town centre below.

The Best Bars & Restaurants in Pamporovo

Whilst the ski area is small in comparison to the large European resorts, the town of Pamporovo comes alive after the skiing ends with many restaurants and apres bars to get the party started. For those on the slopes looking for a unique experience, head to Cafe Panorama, a restaurant located 2000m above the trees inside the old television tower. Towards the end of the day, many of the lively apres bars open up slopeside with the White Dog being a firm apres favourite.
