Description
Centuries old chalet, lovingly restored
Chalet Silentium is about a 15 minute drive from the slopes of Val Pusteria, and there is a train a five minute drive away that takes skiers to any of the ski resorts in the Dolomites. This 350m² chalet, spread over three floors with two double bedrooms and three suites, accommodates 10 guests in spacious comfort. On the ground floor you'll find two traditional wooden Tyrolean rooms, both several centuries old, which are used as living room and dining room. The professional kitchen may only be used by the staff.
An attractive hallway welcomes you into the 16th century former farmhouse that has served many generations as a living place and a ski holiday residence. On the ground floor there is a wonderful relaxation area with a tea corner, as well as a bio sauna where up to ten people can unwind after skiing.
On the first floor are two rustic 28m² double rooms with en-suite shower rooms.
Each has a small vestibule, flat-screen TV and mini bar, and is furnished with great attention to detail using natural materials, mainly larch and pine wood.
Chalet Silentium has three luxurious suites. A two-story suite of 45m² has a living room and fireplace located on the first floor. On the second floor is a spacious bedroom and modern en-suite bathroom with a large shower. Then there is a three story suite of 73m² with a living room and fireplace on the first floor, a double en-suite bedroom on the second floor and a relaxation room with skylight in the attic. The penthouse suite, on the second floor, has an area of 52m² with a living room, fireplace and large panoramic windows. It sleeps two in a separate double en-suite bedroom with a bathtub and large shower.

Nestled in the middle of forest and meadows, the chalet is located on the outskirts of Monguelfo, 1 km from the centre. Monguelfo is the starting point for many activities including hiking, mountain biking, snowshoe hikes and cross-country skiing. The Ski Pusterstal Express train takes you to Three Peaks/3Zinnen Dolomites, Plan de Corones (15 min) or Cortina resorts. A ski lift in the village is suitable for younger guests.
