1. Clean & Safe

Launched this summer to reassure guests that Switzerland is a safe and clean travel destination, the Clean and Safe campaign supported by Switzerland Tourism signals to guests that tourism service providers have made a strong commitment to comply with protection guidelines against the Covid-19 virus. With a long-standing reputation for its cleanliness, Switzerland continues to work hard to reassure skiers this upcoming season.

Some Swiss resorts, including Davos, have put in place “cold-fogging” equipment to blast the interiors of gondolas to kill 99.9% of viruses, bacteria and spores, whilst other resorts have installed sanitation stations and have made wearing face masks compulsory.

2. Spectacular Scenery

From the moment you arrive in resort, the Swiss scenery is sure to take your breath away. Covered in towering massifs and dramatic sloped valleys, Switzerland is full of incredible scenery and home to some of the world’s most famous mountains including the Matterhorn, Jungfrau and Eiger. Several of our properties in Zermatt have spectacular views of the Matterhorn so you can admire this striking mountain from the comfort of your own chalet.

3. Fantastic Skiing

Set at high altitudes, the ski resorts of Switzerland have a strong snow record with outstanding ski schools ready and waiting to take you down the slopes. Boasting the title of the birthplace of alpine winter tourism, the glitzy resort of St Moritz has always been a popular ski destination and is the only Swiss ski resort to have hosted the Winter Olympics twice. From the beginner slopes of Villars to the backcountry haven of Verbier, the slopes of Switzerland have something to suit every level of ability.

4. Seal of Approval

Over the years, Switzerland has been given the seal of approval from many as one of the top ski destinations in the world. Popular with royalty and celebrities alike, the resorts of Gstaad, Klosters and Verbier remain as popular as ever for their discretion and meticulous attention to detail in providing the best luxury ski holiday experience.

A country which takes pride in its efficiency, you can rest assured that Switzerland will strive to ensure the correct procedures are put in place so that you can enjoy your ski holiday this season in the safest possible way.

6. Mouth-Watering Cuisine

The land of cheese and chocolate, there’s nothing quite like warming up with a hot cheese fondue following a morning on the slopes. Famed for its gourmet food, the resorts of St Moritz and Zermatt are teeming with Michelin-starred restaurants whilst even the smallest of mountain huts provide mouth-watering traditional dishes made from fresh local produce.
