Cookie Cafe
Located at the top of the Mossettes chairlift at over 2000 metres above sea level, this is one of the highest altitude restaurants in the Portes du Soleil with incredible panoramic views and a superb sun terrace. As well as being an ideal pit stop for coffee, the restaurant is known for its delicious gourmet burgers handcrafted by a local Swiss butcher. Homemade soups, salads, pizzas and fresh milkshakes are also on offer here.

Chez Nannon
The ideal spot for a long lunch over a few bottles of wine, Chez Nannon is without doubt one of the best mountain restaurants in Morzine. Reached by either the Ravarettes or Troncs Express chairlifts in Morzine’s Nyon sector, this classic Haut-Savoyard restaurant serves up incredible Tartiflette served in a bubbling pan to your table. Also on the menu are burgers and steaks whilst the braised knuckle of ham with mustard sauce is also a firm favourite.

Le Vaffieu
Within walking or skiing distance from the top of the Pleney cable car, Le Vaffieu is a popular Morzine restaurant for locals and visitors alike. After working in top restaurants in Geneva and Courchevel, chef Alexandre Baud-Pachon returned to his roots in Morzine. Combining local ingredients with exotic influences, enjoy a three or four-course menu which changes every day in line with the season.

La Chaudanne
A popular and long-standing restaurant in Morzine town centre, La Chaudanne has an extensive menu, cosy atmosphere and refined Savoyard dishes. Downstairs you will find a vaulted wine bar with glass front cellars; the perfect spot for an aperitif. Try the Chaudanne burger for a mouth-watering combination of rosti, duck breast, pan-fried foie gras and morel sauce. They also have several fish dishes as well as a children’s menu.

Ferme de la Fruitière

Belonging to one of the most celebrated cheese producers in Morzine, Ferme de la Fruitiere is heaven for cheese lovers. Choose from local cheese specialities such as Berthoud and relax in the wood-panelled interior beside the crackling fireplace. The portions are generous and the desserts are all handmade.

La Chamade

Le Tremplin
Situated at the bottom of the main Pleny slopes, Le Tremplin is one of the best Morzine apres-ski bars. Kicking off from 4 pm daily, enjoy live music, DJs and drinks until 8 pm.

Bec Jaune
This popular micro-brewery is a great choice for a relaxing evening in Morzine. All of the craft beers are brewed on-site and they also provide a range of organic wines and a cocktail of the day. If you’re feeling a little peckish, choose from the Asian-influenced menu of burgers, skewers and large plates from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Coup de Coeur
A fantastic option for an afternoon vin chaud, Coup de Coeur is located on the main street with a large terrace overlooking the ice rink opposite. There is an extensive selection of wine, some interesting whiskeys and accompanying tapas too.

Tibetan Cafe
Previously known as the Buddah Cafe, this Morzine bar combines Indian and Asian decor and offers live music and live sport from 4 pm to 2 am during the winter season. Peruse the sophisticated cocktail menu whilst listening to some classic rock.

Established in 1926, Bar Robinson is one of the oldest bars in Morzine. The Cavern
One of the liveliest bars in Morzine, The Cavern is open every day from 4pm to 2am in the winter. The place to go for fun, cheesy music courtesy of Resident DJs Ronnie and Disco Stoo, The Cavern is a popular Morzine apres-ski bar with “Happy Hour” every day from 4pm to 6pm.

Cafe Chaud
If you’re looking for a more alternative music scene in Morzine, Cafe Chaud plays upbeat house and funk on Wednesdays and drum and bass on Sunday evenings. There’s also the infamous beer pong championship every Tuesday.

L’Opera
Morzine’s most popular nightclub, L’Opera is open from 12am to 5am and is likely to be your last stop of the night. The music is a blend of cheesy pop and French techno which may not be to everyone’s taste but by 5am you might not mind too much..!
