St Tropez-inspired chalet in Les Brigues

Set in the hamlet of Les Brigues, Chalet White Sand brings a Riviera-influenced style to Courchevel 1550. The chalet takes several cues from St Tropez, most notably in the spa, where an indoor/outdoor pool is surrounded by real white sand and images of Pampelonne Beach.

The chalet is arranged across six floors and covers 830m², with a lift and staircase connecting all levels. Inside, the design feels contemporary, with pale timber, weathered wood and wool wall hangings.

The main living floor brings the sitting room, dining area and kitchen together in one open, sociable space. The lounge is arranged around a central fireplace, with deep sofas and access out to the balcony.

Beside it, the dining table is well placed for long dinners together, while the kitchen and bar area add to the informal, house-party feel of the chalet.

Chalet White Sand sleeps up to 12 adults and 3 children. The top floor includes the master bedroom, with a fireplace, balcony and generous en-suite bathroom, alongside a further double/twin bedroom. A family suite on the second floor combines a double bedroom with an adjoining children’s bunk room, making it a practical setup for parents travelling with children. The remaining bedrooms are arranged across the lower levels, and all have en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms.

The spa is the chalet’s defining feature. Centred around the indoor/outdoor swimming pool, it feels like a private beach club with real sand around the pool, a relaxation space, sauna, hammam, gym and massage room.

Entertainment is equally well considered. The indoor pétanque court, inspired by St Tropez’s Place des Lices is a unique feature, while the cinema room, games room with snooker table and arcade machines, and well-stocked bar provide plenty of post-ski amusement.

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

The bedrooms are spread across several levels, with one on the ground floor, one on the first floor, three on the second floor (including the family suite) and the master suite on the fourth floor. This gives guests good privacy, though families with younger children may want to consider the bedroom layout carefully when allocating rooms.

Although the bunk room has four beds, Chalet White Sand is limited to a maximum of 15 guests due to occupancy regulations.

Location & Access

Chalet White Sand is set in Les Brigues, a quieter hillside area of Courchevel 1550. The slopes are around a minute’s walk from the chalet. For restaurants and shops in Courchevel 1850, the Grangettes gondola runs into the evening.

Distance to Piste: Around a minute's walk through the trees to the red Deviation piste, which takes you down to the Tovets chairlift. You can ski back via the same run.
Distance to Ski Lifts: Short ski to Tovets chairlift, or 3-minute drive to Grangettes gondola, which takes you straight up to 18.50.
Distance to Courchevel 1550 Centre: 2-minute drive
Distance to Courchevel 1850 Centre: Quick ride in the Grangettes gondola or 12-minute drive.
