Property Tour & Rooms
Ski-in/ski-out chalet in Courchevel 1650
Set directly on the Belvédère piste, Chalet Bacchus has one of the most convenient positions in Courchevel 1650. The Ariondaz gondola is a short ski away, while the centre of Courchevel 1650, with its restaurants and shops, is also close by.
The chalet is arranged over five floors and covers 560m², with a lift serving four of the levels. The ski room sits on the ground floor, with heated boot dryers and space to store equipment before heading upstairs to the main living area.
The second floor is the heart of the chalet. Here, a double-height sitting room is arranged around a contemporary central fireplace, with full-height windows drawing in the mountain views. The room feels bright and open, with balconies on both sides and a direct connection to the terrace. A large dining area sits alongside the living space, while the open kitchen and bar give the room a sociable feel.
The chalet’s name is reflected in the wine cellar display, which adds character to the dining area. Outside, an oversized hot tub sits on the terrace overlooking the slopes, making this one of the more memorable spots in the chalet for a drink after skiing.
Chalet Bacchus sleeps up to 14 guests across seven en-suite bedrooms. The master suite occupies the top floor, with its own private balcony and panoramic views. The remaining six bedrooms are arranged across the lower levels and can be configured as super-king doubles or twins.
The lower ground floor is dedicated to wellness and relaxation. A 10-metre indoor pool sits beside a sunken hot tub, with a sauna and hammam completing the spa area. A treatment room is positioned one floor above, making it easy to arrange massages in the chalet during the week.
The cinema room is also on the lower ground floor, with tiered sofas, a large screen and a PlayStation 5. It gives children and teenagers their own space, while also working well for relaxed film nights after dinner.

Good to Know
Location & Access:
- Chalet Bacchus is ski-in/ski-out on the Belvédère piste, though guests should note that there are steps leading up from the spacious ski room to the slopes.
Wellness & Facilities:
- The spa is located on the lower ground floor and has a darker, more masculine feel than the main living areas. The facilities are excellent, particularly the 10-metre indoor pool and sunken hot tub, though this is not a spa with mountain views.
Space & Layout:
- The kitchen can be closed off from the main dining area, which works well for catered stays while the chef prepares meals.
- The bedrooms are all similar in size, with generous space, en-suite bathrooms and either balcony or terrace access. This makes room allocation relatively straightforward for groups.
- The lift connects all levels of the chalet except for the master bedroom on the top floor.
