Centrally located modern penthouse

Set across the 10th, 11th and 12th floors of the Atmosphere residence, Atmosphere Penthouse places guests in the centre of Courchevel 1850, close to La Croisette and the main lift hub. Restaurants, boutiques and bars are all within easy walking distance, while the residence itself includes a spa, restaurant and ski shop.

The penthouse has a much larger footprint than most central Courchevel apartments. Interiors are contemporary, with muted tones throughout and a mix of timber, stone and textured fabrics. The overall feel is more of a private residence than a traditional alpine chalet, with several separate areas for relaxing, watching films or spending time as a group.

The views from the central living area are astounding. Here, a large sitting room is arranged around the fireplace, with balcony access and plenty of seating.

The dining area sits close by, while the bar and pool table give this level a more sociable feel in the evenings. A children’s playroom is also positioned on the same floor, making it easy for younger guests to have their own space without being too far from the adults.

There is a separate TV room on the top floor (which doubles as a bedroom), giving older children, teenagers or adults wanting a quieter film night away from the main living area. An office area is also located on this level, giving guests a practical place to work or take calls.

There are six main bedrooms and an additional children’s room. The master suite is the largest, with its own living area, office, dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Further bedrooms are arranged across the lower and upper levels, while the top-floor double bedroom and children’s room work particularly well as a family setup.

Wellness features prominently. Within the penthouse, guests have a private sauna, hot tub and massage room, so there is space to unwind without leaving the residence. Guests can also use the Atmosphere 1850 wellness area, which is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 and includes a 22-metre indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, fitness and yoga room, sensory shower and herbal infusion bar.

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

Although the penthouse is extremely spacious, the layout is quite horizontal, with the bedrooms arranged off a long corridor.
The bedrooms are not all equal in size. The master suites are significantly larger, with their own living areas and walk-in wardrobes, so room allocation is worth considering in advance for mixed adult groups.

Wellness & Facilities:

The Cinq Mondes spa includes four treatments per stay: two ‘Découvertes’ face and body treatment (50 minutes) and two Ko Bi Do facial treatment (50 minutes).
The ChaCha restaurant offers a menu inspired by California and the Levant, to be enjoyed over lunch on the terrace or dinner accompanied by music, with the option of room service.
The parking spaces are located in a municipal parking lot, with no direct access to the residence (maximum height: 2 metres).
