In one of the most coveted addresses in Courchevel 1850, Hameau de Cachemire, sits Chalet Le Namaste, providing direct ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes and panoramic views over the French Alps. Accommodating up to fourteen guests in five bedrooms plus a cabin bunk area, this four–floored luxury chalet is ideal for a family ski holiday. In 2019, the chalet underwent a €1 million renovation, increasing the size of the chalet, adding height and extending the piste facing façade.

One of the highlights of the renovation is the new and spacious double-height open-plan living and dining area. Comfortable sofas, a fireplace and bar in the spacious open-plan living area invite guests to completely relax. The abundant use of old wood enhances the authentic Alpine feel. Interesting artwork adds to the stylish decor, while nearly every window in the chalet frames an inspiring mountain view outside.

A brand new glass-enclosed kitchen is state-of-the-art and any chef's dream. A large south-facing terrace catches the morning sun and is the perfect place for an outdoor breakfast or sundowners in the evening.

Chalet Le Namaste has a wonderful spa area. It features an indoor swimming pool with a wave machine, jet stream and mood lighting system. A hammam and sauna, and a large massage and spa treatment room, will soothe any tired muscles. Afterwards, move over and relax at the poolside bar. The mezzanine level above the pool houses a yoga and stretching.

Chalet Le Namaste can sleep up to 13 guests across six bedrooms, all with stylish en-suite bathrooms and/or whirlpool bathtubs. As of 2019, there is a brand new sumptuous master bedroom along with three double bedrooms and a children's bedroom, with cabin bunk beds, sleeping four. There is a fantastic adjoining lounge and games area – perfect for family fun. The sixth bedroom is a smaller, windowless double room - ideal for nannies, staff or children.

Insights

Space & Layout:

Two of the bedrooms do not have windows: the children’s bunk room and the ground-floor bedroom. The ground-floor room features a queen-size bed positioned against the wall on one side, making it better suited to a single adult rather than a couple.
Bedroom two on the second floor has its en-suite bathroom located on the level below, which is worth bearing in mind for night-time access.

Amenities:

The mezzanine Pilates and stretching area is a thoughtful addition, complete with yoga mats and free weights, offering a dedicated space to warm up before heading to the slopes or unwind afterwards.
