Large private chalet on the Route des Chalets

Set on the prestigious Route des Chalets, Chalet Alpaca occupies an elevated position above Meribel, with panoramic views across the valley and easy access to the resort centre by car. At 930m², it offers an impressive amount of space across four floors with six bedrooms and extensive shared spaces.

The main living floor features a double-height sitting room, where full-height windows look out towards the mountains and open onto the terrace. The room has a contemporary alpine feel, with stone, timber and glass used throughout, while the orange seating and central fireplace give the space warmth and character.

The bar sits just off the main seating area, making this floor particularly sociable in the evenings. Close by, the dining area seats 10 beside the windows, while the separate kitchen keeps service discreet and allows the chef to work independently during fully serviced stays.

In warmer moments or on sunny winter afternoons, the living and dining areas open directly onto the south-facing terrace and garden. The outdoor space is one of Alpaca’s defining features. A heated outdoor pool sits on the terrace beside a copper hot tub and fire pit, creating the perfect apres-ski setting. Inside, Alpaca has a spacious massage room, sauna, hammam, rain shower and a small fitness area.

Ample entertainment is on offer, including a large cinema room with a high-tech sound system. There is also an adjoining games room with a pool table and pinball machine, as well as a dedicated indoor climbing room.

Chalet Alpaca sleeps up to 12 guests across six bedrooms. The top-floor master suite is the most impressive, with its own fireplace, private balcony, dressing area and a bathroom with a copper bathtub positioned to look out towards Saulire. A second double bedroom is located on the main living floor, while further twin/double bedrooms and a children’s bunk room are arranged across the lower levels. The bunk room sleeps four, but the chalet is strictly limited to 12 guests in total.

An exceptionally large garage has space for three vehicles, and there is a ski room with boot warmers too.

Chalet Alpaca is a luxury chalet in Méribel, ideally situated on the prestigious Route des Chalets, just minutes from the resort centre.

Distance to Piste: Short walk or 2-minute drive to the blue Doron piste, which takes you down to the main lift hub.

Space & Layout:

Aside from the larger master suite, the bedrooms are generous and fairly even in size, which makes room allocation straightforward.
On the lower level, one double bedroom connects naturally with the bunk room to form a family suite, making it a useful setup for parents travelling with children, or for a nanny staying close by while still having a separate bedroom.

Also on this floor is a separate staff apartment with independent access.
Although the bunk room can sleep 4 guests, the chalet owner will only accept a maximum of 12 guests (including infants & children).
