Well-located Meribel chalet

Impressive from the outside, Chalet Cheval Blanc is a distinctive property in Meribel with lovely views of the gondola rising up the mountain. Set opposite the Olympe gondola and with the Raffort piste close by, it is well placed for skiers, while still offering the space and layout to work well for groups spending time together at the chalet.

The main living area is the heart of the property. The kitchen opens directly onto the dining space, creating an easy connection between the chef and guests, while the large dining table and generous sofa seating around the stone fireplace add to the sociable ambience. There is also a view through to the pool behind - a unique touch.

Just off the main living area, a cosy reading nook provides a quieter corner to retreat to.

Five double bedrooms are arranged across the top two levels. The top-floor bedroom is particularly spacious, while the remaining rooms are more standard in size, with modern marble bathrooms or shower rooms. The final two bedrooms are located in a newer studio with two en-suite doubles, a small sitting area and a kitchenette. Slightly more separate from the rest of the chalet, this area could work particularly well for a family unit or nanny.

The indoor pool is one of Chalet Cheval Blanc’s standout features, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in plenty of light. There is also a cinema room, accessed via the studio, for quieter evenings in.

Other practical features include a well-equipped ski room with plenty of seating, a luggage lift and a garage with parking for up to three vehicles.

Space & Layout:

Although this is a seven-bedroom chalet, most of the beds are fixed doubles. This is worth bearing in mind if you're a mixed group of adults.
The mezzanine bedroom is not suitable for adults.
Bedroom 1 in the studio does not have a window

The cinema room is accessed through the studio, which is worth noting if that part of the chalet is being used by guests wanting more privacy.

Design & Style:

Most of the bathrooms are finished in marble and feel contemporary, though there are several small tile lips and level changes underfoot.

Location of Chalet Cheval Blanc

Chalet Cheval Blanc is set opposite the Olympe gondola and close to the bottom of the Raffort piste, making it a practical choice for skiers who want easy access to the mountain. Meribel centre is a short drive away, and the free bus route also stops directly outside the boot room.

Distance to Piste: 2-minute stroll from the bottom of Le Raffort piste, giving near ski-in access.
Distance to Ski Lifts: 2-minute walk to Olympe gondola, which whisks you up to the main lift hub at La Chaudanne.
Distance to Meribel Centre: 6-minute drive
