Ski-in/ski-out chalet on the Doron piste

Chalet Trois Ours is one of the few genuine ski-in/ski-out chalets in Méribel, set directly on the blue Doron piste on the sought-after Route des Chalets. For families in particular, it is hard to find a more convenient position in the resort.

Inside, the chalet has a traditional alpine feel, with vaulted ceilings, timber detailing and a large stone fireplace at the centre of the living room - a generous, comfortable space to return to after a day on the mountain.

Just behind, the dining area is arranged alongside a separate kitchen, while the large balcony extends the room further and makes the most of the mountain views.

The bedrooms are spread across three floors, with four en-suite doubles or twins on the top floor, a master bedroom on the ground floor, and a nearby bunk room for two children.

For post-ski relaxation, there is a hot tub on the terrace, a steam room, gym, dedicated treatment room and a cosy cinema room for quieter evenings in.

Other facilities include two outdoor parking spaces and laundry facilities.

Level 2:

1 double/twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub, washbasin & WC)
2 double/twin bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (bathtub, washbasin & WC) & access to shared balcony
1 double/twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom & private balcony

Level 0:

1 double/twin bedroom (master) with en-suite bathroom (bathtub, washbasin & WC) plus access to the terrace with hot tub
1 bunk bedroom (sleeps 2) with access to guest WC

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

The bunk room is very compact, with limited storage and no en-suite bathroom, so it is best suited to younger children rather than teenagers or adults.
Although the chalet sits next to the piste, the covered outdoor hot tub still feels private, with trees screening it from passing skiers.

The chalet is arranged over four floors, but there is no lift, so it is less suitable for those who require step-free access.

Design & Style:

The kitchen and bathrooms are functional but simpler in style and feel a little more dated than the main living areas.

Chalet Trois Ours is situated on Route des Chalets, right on the Doron piste, providing ski-in/ski-out access and under 10 minutes' walk from local supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
