Set within 20,000m² of pasture and 4,000m² of woodland, Cesa del Louf enjoys an isolated setting 700 metres from Arabba. The chalet is located close to Michelin-star restaurants such as St. Hubertus in San Cassiano and La Stüa de Michil in Corvara (10-minutes by car) and is the ideal starting point for many hiking and mountain biking expeditions. The chalet has a private heliport; by helicopter you can reach Venice in 45 minutes, Lake Garda in 55 minutes and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 10 minutes.
Cesa del Louf has been restored with much attention to detail and a focus on sustainability with four energy-efficient wood-burning stoves and internal air re-circulation systems with filtration. The buildings are classified in energy class A1 so the underfloor heating costs and fuel consumption are low. The chalet renovation used
local and antique materials, combining a traditional Alpine style with modern comforts.
The entrance to the chalet on the first floor leads into a light and spacious open plan living area with a wood-burning fireplace, elegant dining area and modern kitchen. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed from a wrap-around balcony and terraces on both sides.
A permanent local art exhibition has been created inside, including the works of the Unika artists (sculptors and painters from Val Gardena) and the painter Raimond Mussner.
Three large bedroom suites with mezzanines accommodate up to six guests, but there is the possibility of adding extra beds in the mezzanine. The bedrooms can be configured as twins or doubles and there is a studio apartment for staff. The master suite has a stunning en-suite bathroom with free-standing bathtub looking out towards the mountain peaks.
Relaxation is taken care of on the ground floor which is dedicated to an incredible wellness area with a stunning indoor swimming pool with counter-current, hydro-massage pool, sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation area with loungers and experience shower.
