Set in Hameau de la Volière, Chalet Les Bastidons is one of three chalets in this private enclave in the Chenus area of Courchevel 1850. The position gives guests quick access to the slopes, while the centre of 1850, La Croisette and the main ski school meeting points are a short drive away.

Arranged over five floors, the chalet features interiors by Christophe Tollemer, with old wood, natural stone, patterned fabrics and classic furniture used throughout. The staircase is a notable feature, with metalwork shaped into foliage and birds, adding a more decorative detail between the levels.

The main living and dining area opens onto a large south-facing terrace with views across the valley and surrounding peaks. Inside, pale timber, exposed beams and soft-toned furnishings create a relaxed setting around the fireplace.

The oval dining table seats 12, while the separate semi-professional kitchen allows the chef team to prepare meals away from the main guest areas. The terrace has both seating and dining areas, making it useful for sunny lunches, pre-dinner drinks, or simply stepping outside to take in the views over the valley and surrounding peaks.

Chalet Les Bastidons sleeps 12 guests across six en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom has a dressing area, en-suite bathroom and balcony access, while the remaining bedrooms are arranged across the lower levels, each with its own bathroom.

The spa is a major part of the chalet’s appeal. Located on the lower level, it includes an indoor pool, lounge area, sauna, hammam, indoor Jacuzzi, gym, massage room and bar. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi on a covered terrace on the lower bedroom level, giving guests another place to unwind after skiing.

Chalet Bastidons also has several spaces to relax beyond the main living room. These include a cinema/playroom for films and board games, a games room with a piano and pool table, and a wine-tasting room.

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

The bedrooms are all fixed doubles rather than twins, so the layout is less flexible for mixed groups who need twin-bed arrangements.
The hot tub is accessed from the corridor or the two lower-floor bedrooms.
Two parking spaces are available to guests

Suitability for Groups:

Bastidons has plenty of space for the whole group to spread out. For larger groups, the chalet interconnects to Chalet Cryst'Alie on the wellness level to accommodate up to 24 guests.

Location & Access

Chalet Bastidons is a luxury retreat in Courchevel 1850’s prestigious Chenus area, offering ski-out access

Distance to Piste: Ski-out to the red Dou du Midi piste, which takes you down to the Plantrey chairlift or carries on down to the Tovets chairlift. You can return on skis down the same piste to within 70 metres of the chalet.
Distance to Ski Lifts: Short ski to Plantrey or Tovets, or 3-minute drive to main lift hub at La Croisette.
Distance to Courchevel 1850 Centre: 3-minute drive or 9-minute walk
