Chalet Mont Des Anges is one of the more distinctive chalets in Morzine. From the outside, it appears relatively understated, but the house is built into the hillside and opens up across three floors, with the best of it revealed as you move through the property.

The location, between Morzine and Montriond, works well for guests seeking a quieter position with open views, while still being within a short drive of the centre of Morzine.

Contemporary yet comfortable, Chalet Mont Des Anges features a south-west-facing terrace, where the infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit all look out over the Parc des Dérêches forest, open fields, and Roc d’Enfer beyond.

The terrace connects directly to the wellness area, which includes a sauna, so it is easy to move between the two.

On the third floor, the open-plan living area makes the most of the views, with floor-to-ceiling doors framing the surrounding mountains. There is a large wood-burning stove at the centre of the sitting area, while the dining table seats 14 guests beneath statement lighting. Elsewhere, the cocktail bar is a real highlight with zebra-print walls and a big screen, whilst the stylish cinema room is ideal for cosy nights in.

The chalet sleeps up to 14 guests across five double or twin bedrooms and a bunk room on the lower floor, providing a layout that works well for larger family groups or groups of friends.

There is also an office nook with access to an Apple desktop computer, a ski room with boot warmers and parking for four cars on the driveway.

Wellness & Amenities:

There is a heated outdoor swimming pool on the terrace. Although relatively compact at 5 x 2 metres, it has a counter current, so you can still swim against the flow.
A Twisted Land Rover Defender 110 showpiece can be seen behind a glass wall in the ski room. It is for display only and is not available for guest use.
The cinema room is stylish and cosy, though the sofa seating is really only suited to four guests at a time.

Layout & Space:

In the master bedroom, the shower is open to the room, though modesty screens are in place for guests who would prefer a little more privacy.
The bunk room has four full-size single beds. Storage is limited, though there is a laundry room directly opposite that can be used for overflow.
Bedroom 3 does not have an en-suite bathroom, but there is a WC opposite the room and a shared family bathroom a few steps away.

Location & Access

Located between Morzine and Montriond, the chalet is a short walk from the bars and restaurants of Montriond and a 20-minute walk from the centre of Morzine and the Super Morzine lift, via the suspension bridge.

Distance to the Ski Lifts: 7-minute drive to the Pléney gondola, 8-minute drive to the Super Morzine cable car or 10-minute drive to the Ardent gondola.
