Chalet Marco Polo is one of the most distinctive private chalets in Val d’Isère, combining real scale, privacy and easy access to both the centre and the slopes. Set in a discreet position with views across La Face piste, it offers an impressive 1,000m² of living space.

Inside, the chalet brings together alpine materials with a more opulent Oriental influence. Rich timber, intricate carving, decorative lighting and bolder detailing give it a far more individual feel than a typical mountain chalet.

The main living and dining room is arranged around a striking fireplace and opens onto a broad terrace overlooking the piste, with heated outdoor seating that makes the space just as appealing after skiing as it is during the day.

Chalet Marco Polo is designed as much for entertaining as it is for relaxing. There is a private après-ski bar, several lounge areas, and a wine cellar and fromagerie that lend themselves naturally to tastings or smaller gatherings.

The six en-suite bedrooms are all individually designed and accommodate up to 10 adults and 4 children. One of the standout details is the master suite’s granite bathtub, which is unlike anything you tend to find in a more conventional chalet.

The wellness floor is one of Marco Polo’s defining features. At its centre is the gold-leaf swimming pool designed by Christian Lacroix, while a hammam, outdoor hot tub with ozone technology, treatment rooms and a fully-equipped gym complete the extensive facilities.

Beyond the spa, there is also a games room with a pool table, darts and a racing simulator, while a drop-down projector creates a cinema setup within the main living space when needed.

Practical features include a heated ski room with boot warmers and a private garage with EV charging.
