Set in the hamlet of Le Fornet, Chalet Oly offers a quieter alternative to staying in the centre of Val d’Isère. The Fornet cable car is a short walk away, giving access to the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, while the centre of the resort can be reached by car or the local bus.
The chalet is arranged over several floors, with the main living space positioned to make the most of the valley views. Large windows frame the surrounding mountains, while the central fireplace sits between the lounge and dining area, creating a natural divide within the open-plan setting.
The sitting area is relaxed and comfortable, with generous sofas arranged around the fire.
Old wood, neutral tones and elegant furnishings create a warm and inviting setting. On the other side, the wooden dining table and open kitchen create a practical setting for breakfasts before skiing and evenings together after a day on the mountain.
Chalet Oly sleeps up to 12 guests across five en-suite bedrooms. Two bedrooms occupy the upper levels, each with open en-suite bathrooms, while two double/twin bedrooms and the children’s bunk room are set on the first floor. The bunk room sleeps four and is best suited to children.
The lower levels are given over to entertainment and wellness. The TV room has relaxed seating and surround sound for film nights, while the games room with a pool table gives children and teenagers somewhere to spend time away from the main living area.
The spa sits on the lower ground floor and includes an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, hammam and relaxation area, perfect for bad-weather afternoons or relaxing after skiing.
