Contemporary property in a beautiful part of the Engadin
Designed by Swiss architect Ernst E. Anderegg, Casa Leopardo has been redeveloped into a stylish contemporary-style property surrounded by nature. The property is located in the village of Maloja, which is located on Lake Sil, the largest and arguably most scenic of the Upper Engadin lakes. Maloja is the starting point for many trails, including the famous Engadin Skimarathon. A ski lift at Piz Aela transports skiers to the Maloja ski area at 2,000m, whilst the centre of St. Moritz is approximately 15-minutes away by car.
Set over three floors and spanning 300m², Casa Leopardo is comprised of the main house with four double bedrooms and an additional apartment with a further double bedroom. The apartment is directly connected to the main house but has its own external entrance. An inviting entrance hall on the ground floor leads into a large open plan kitchen with a breakfast table and bar.
Upstairs on the first floor is a spacious living area with a fireplace, bar and elegant dining area. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a gateway to impressive mountain views which are best enjoyed from the terrace.
Casa Leopardo is able to accommodate 10 adults and two children across five double bedrooms. On the ground floor is a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second double bedroom with a bathroom next door. Heading upstairs, there is a third double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and on the top floor a second master suite with a balcony, walk-in wardrobe, small library and bathroom.
The apartment has a small living room which can be turned into a second bedroom, a dining area with a fully-equipped kitchenette and a separate bedroom and bathroom. There are four outside parking spaces, laundry facilities and a ski room.
