Part of a refined luxury residence, Horu Lodge enjoys uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn and access to the residence’s extensive shared spa facilities. Designed by Studio Birk with interiors by Adelene Smith Ng, the lodge offers a serene retreat, defined by elegant detailing.

Ideally positioned for keen skiers, the Matterhorn Express gondola is just a two-minute walk away.

Guests enter the residence through a striking reception area, with a dedicated ski room leading off, complete with ski lockers and boot warmers. Within the lodge, all levels are accessed by either lift or stairs.

The main living space is located on the upper floors, where vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows maximise the dramatic Matterhorn views.

The open-plan living area features comfortable sofas arranged around the fireplace and an OLED TV with sound bar, while the walnut Carl Hansen dining table seats up to 12 guests and opens onto a south-facing balcony. The adjoining open kitchen completes the space, finished with birch wood surfaces and Zug appliances.

Arranged across three levels, the lodge’s four bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight guests. The first floor houses two bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a separate shower room, with the second floor mirroring this layout.

Guests also benefit from access to the residence’s shared wellness facilities, which include a swimming pool with jets, sauna, steam room, massage room, gym and outdoor hot tub, an ideal setting to unwind and recharge after a day in the mountains.

Enjoying stunning views of the Matterhorn, Horu Lodge is a short walk to the ski lifts and a leisurely stroll into the resort centre.

Space & Layout:

Whilst all bedrooms have private bathroom facilities, only two are en-suite.

Suitability for Groups:

For larger groups, Horu Lodge can be rented with the adjacent Lyksamm Lodge (sleeps 8 + 1), Dufourspitz Lodge (sleeps 10) & Tête Blanche Lodge (sleeps 4 + 1). The building also contains two smaller one-bedroom apartments, El Alamein Suite (sleeps 2 + 1) & Gertwetsch Suite (sleeps 2).

Wellness & Amenities:

The lodge's wellness facilities are communal and shared with three other residences.
There is an in-house therapist who can offer Swedish massage, Indian head massage, foot or full-body massage as well as manicures, pedicures & facials.
