Nestled in the alpine village of Zermatt

Enjoying unrivalled views of the Matterhorn, Lyskamm Lodge offers a calm, well-finished alpine base and access to the residence’s extensive shared spa facilities. Designed by Studio Birk, with interiors by Adelene Smith Ng, the lodge is finished with considered details throughout. The Matterhorn Express gondola is just a short two-minute walk away, while the village centre can be reached easily by electric taxi, offering convenient access to local restaurants, boutiques and bars.

The main living space is located on the top floor of the lodge, where vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows draw in natural light

and frame the surrounding mountain views. Comfortable sofas are arranged around the fireplace and OLED TV with a sound bar, while a walnut Carl Hansen dining table alongside seats up to twelve guests. The open kitchen sits alongside, finished with birch wood surfaces and Zug appliances. A spiral staircase leads up to a quiet mezzanine level, providing an additional seating area with a sofa bed and TV.

The lodge’s four bedrooms are arranged across the two lower floors and feature Vi-Spring beds, all configurable as either doubles or twins. On the first floor, one bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom has a separate shower room. This layout is mirrored on the floor above.

Guests also benefit from access to the residence’s shared wellness facilities, reached via a sweeping staircase. These include a swimming pool with jets, sauna, steam room, massage room, gym and outdoor hot tub, providing an ideal space to relax and recover after a day in the mountains.

Space & Layout:

Whilst all bedrooms have private bathroom facilities, only two are en-suite.

Suitability for Groups:

For larger groups, Lyskamm Lodge can be rented with the adjacent Dufourspitz Lodge (sleeps 10), Horu Lodge (sleeps 8) & Tête Blanche Lodge (sleeps 4 + 1). The building also contains two smaller one-bedroom apartments, El Alamein Suite (sleeps 2 + 1) & Gertwetsch Suite (sleeps 2).

Wellness & Amenities:

The lodge's wellness facilities are communal and shared with three other residences.
There is an in-house therapist who can offer Swedish massage, Indian head massage, foot or full-body massage as well as manicures, pedicures & facials.
