The Fljót Valley sees some of the highest average snowfall on the planet, making it ideal for ski touring; whilst the property's proximity to the Arctic Circle allows for sightings of the Northern Lights between April and October.
Deplar Lodge has a stylish lounge with a large fireplace and captivating mountain views. A large bar area for the all important cocktails, and equipped with a TV, pool table, foosball and darts, provides plenty of entertainment. After dinner, guests can take to the stage in the bar's loft, which is equipped with band instruments and karaoke facilities. The dining room, framed by magnificent views, has a fireplace as well as a taxidermy Icelandic bird collection. You can also relax in the library or enjoy a film in the media room, which is complete with game consoles, Apple TV and Netflix.

Yoga and Pilates classes can be arranged year-round in the yoga room and there is also a gym equipped with cardio machines and weights.
Featuring sheepskin, Moroccan wools and textured walls, Deplar Farm has 13 cosy bedrooms in total.
On the main floor is the master suite, Grettir, complete with king-size bed, living area, fireplace and a mezzanine loft with a spacious seating area. Located on the main floor between the bar and dining area are four gallery suites with king-size beds and mezzanine lofts with hammocks and day beds.
