Set in the Les Balmes enclave of Val d’Isère, Chalet des Légendes enjoys a quieter, slightly elevated position just a short walk from both the resort centre and the main snowfront. Newly built and arranged over four levels, it combines contemporary design with a warm alpine feel.
Located on the second floor, the main stands out for its double-height ceilings, statement fireplace and palette of stone, wood and bronze that give the room a refined, atmospheric feel.
The sitting and dining areas flow easily together, whilst a separate bar adds another sociable space for drinks before dinner.
The bedroom layout works particularly well for families. The master suite occupies the top floor and has its own private balcony, while three further double or twin bedrooms and a quad bunk room are arranged on the floor below. All five bedrooms are en-suite.
Part of what makes the chalet so appealing is the spa on the ground floor, where an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, hammam and dedicated massage room create a private wellness area that feels particularly generous for a chalet of this size.
Practical features include a ski room with heated boot racks, lift access between floors and EV charging.
