The chalet is only a short stroll from the centre of the village and close to the ski lifts, giving easy access to Verbier’s famous slopes. You enter the chalet on the ground floor with a spacious entrance hall leading into an open-plan living and dining area. Traditional alpine features, antique wood beams and oak flooring combine to create a relaxed setting.
Here you can truly unwind, on sofas beside the fireplace or in front of the TV, before enjoying meals around the large dining table, which comfortably seats 14 people. Also on this level is a large kitchen and office area with an open stone fireplace.
If relaxation is a priority, then you are unlikely to be disappointed at Chalet 1936. An extensive wellness area on the lower ground floor offers an 8 x 3 metre indoor heated pool with swim jets, a hammam, shower room, relaxation and lounge areas, as well as a contemporary gym with a fantastic range of modern equipment. There’s even an outdoor cedar hot tub with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Chalet 1936 is home to seven beautifully designed bedrooms: six doubles, which can be configured as twins and a children’s bunk room. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the master bedroom, which has a stunning fireplace, roll-top bath, shower room, dressing area and private balcony. There is also a further twin en-suite bedroom in a staff apartment with a separate entrance on the ground floor.
