Luxury Ski Holidays in Verbier
Perched on a sunny plateau in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Verbier attracts skiers and snowboarders from all over the world, with extensive slopes catering to a range of abilities, so that everyone can enjoy a luxury ski holiday in Verbier.
Luxury chalets in Verbier provide the perfect base from which to enjoy the resort’s vibrant nightlife and high-quality restaurants. Verbier also offers village charm and spectacular views of Mont Blanc and Le Grand Combin. Making up part of Les 4 Vallees ski area, Verbier provides access to around 410 km of pistes and is home to great off-piste skiing too.
Verbier ski holidays aren’t just about whizzing down the pistes. Away from the slopes, the resort has plenty of activities to occupy the non-skier, from dog sledding and paragliding to snowshoeing and climbing. Verbier also has an ice rink and several spas ideal for relaxation after a day on the slopes.
Excursions to nearby Montreux and Martigny are also recommended. Summer is a popular time of year to go on holiday in Verbier, with several international events taking place. It’s also a highly regarded destination for children’s summer camps.
Luxury Chalets & Apartments in Verbier
Leo Trippi has an office in the centre of the resort and the team has an intimate knowledge of both the town and the best Verbier accommodation.
Place Centrale is Verbier’s central hub and home to many shops, bars and restaurants. It is just 500 metres from the main lift station, Medran, where the relatively new Place Blanche development is located. For those looking to have direct access to the bustling resort centre, the luxury apartments and chalets in Verbier provide the perfect holiday base.
Areas such as the Swedish Quarter, Patier, Sonalon and Savoleyres house some of the larger Verbier chalet rentals, as well as plots alongside and near the nursery slopes of Le Rouge and Les Esserts - which are the only true ski-in/ski-out chalets in Verbier.
All of these areas can easily be accessed by car from the resort centre in approximately ten minutes, making Verbier a very easy resort to get around. For the best views in town we recommend you rent a luxury chalet in Savoleyres.
Skiing in Verbier
Linked to the 4 Vallees, Verbier is famous for its off-piste skiing and mogul fields. As part of the 4 Vallees, skiing in Verbier means visitors can enjoy part of Switzerland’s largest ski area with 410 km of incredible pistes to explore. One of the top ski areas for advanced skiers, Verbier skiing is full of thrills both on and off piste.
Intermediate skiers in Verbier can enjoy the gentle sunny bowl of La Chaux or the fantastic network of red runs surrounding Les Attelas, whilst beginner skiers in Verbier can practise their technique on the accessible nursery slopes. A mecca for off-piste skiing, advanced skiers can make the most of the challenging skiing centres around Mont Fort with a steep kilometre-long, often bumpy, black run from the top down to Gentianes-Tortin. Heli-skiing in Verbier is also possible with the four drop-off points located in Glacier du Trient, Petit Combin, Pigne d'Arolla and Rosablanche.
As there are few true ski-in/ski-out chalets in the resort, many of our luxury ski chalets in Verbier have complimentary lift transfers so there will be no need to walk.
