Recently refurbished, this free-standing chalet is set over three floors and offers a light, spacious retreat for up to 12 guests. Located in Verbier’s exclusive Les Esserts area, it is close to the nursery slopes, making it a particularly good base for beginner skiers.
The interiors of Chalet Les Attelas combine antique furniture and wood-panelled walls with more contemporary touches, including an original sculptural artwork of the Valais in the dining area.
The main living spaces make the most of the chalet’s elevated position, with broad south-facing views towards Mont Blanc and the Petit Combin. Centred around a contemporary fireplace, the living area opens onto a large balcony and has a bright, open feel, while the kitchen and dining area sit on either side, creating a practical layout for groups spending time together.
The chalet’s six en-suite bedrooms are spread across all three levels and are fairly even in size. Elsewhere, the wellness area adds to the appeal, with an outdoor hot tub, steam room and sauna providing lovely spaces to unwind after skiing.
