Located just a short walk from the centre of the village, and 500 metres from the Matterhorn Glacier Express, the Christiania Residence offers a convenient and stylish base in Zermatt. Comprised of eight apartments, Christiania houses 20 bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 40 guests.

The residence is ideal for corporate groups or large families and groups of friends wishing to holiday together.

The apartments have been beautifully designed in a contemporary style with the highest attention to detail throughout. Each has an individual living and dining space, plus a kitchen. A dining room in the seven-bedroom penthouse can seat 26 people should you wish to dine together.

All of the bedrooms have super king-size beds which can be split into twins and most of the rooms have either a private or shared balcony with views of the Matterhorn. Each bedroom has its own TV in addition the TV in every living area.

On the top floor is a dedicated cinema room whilst two outdoor hot tubs are located on the ground floor terrace, overlooking the garden. There is a sauna on the third floor of the property and a central ski room with private lockers for each apartment on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a gym and massage room.

Ideally located for ski enthusiasts, Christiania Residence is equidistant from Zermatt's three main lifts, providing easy access to the ski area. The Matterhorn Express gondola, Sunnegga funicular, and Gornergrat railway are all just an 8-minute walk or a 3-minute taxi ride away. The property is also conveniently close to the heart of Zermatt, just a 2-minute walk from the top of the main high street, where you'll find a variety of bars, restaurants, boutiques, and local shops.
