Skiing in Beaver Creek
The ski terrain in this resort is ideal for all levels of skier. For beginners, there are plenty of easy slopes in the upper areas with suitable slopes from the mountain back down into the village. At Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead Mountain, beginners can practise their technique and turns on wide easy slopes and there is a practice area at the Buckaroo Express Gondola.
The ski area is a haven for intermediate skiers looking to enjoy long runs on meticulously groomed snow. From the Larkspur Express Lift, head to the Coyote Glade near Bachelor Gulch where you will find open and spacious terrain with amazing views to match. For fans of tree skiing, Jack Rabbit Alley is a maze of trails weaving between trees.
The advanced skiing in the resort is also fantastic with numerous challenging slopes found between the Rose Bowl, the Grouse Mountain and the Larkspur Bowl. There’s plenty of mogul slopes and tree skiing to enjoy.
With nearly 2,000 vertical feet of steeps, the Bald Eagle slope is a challenging run that will give your legs a good workout, whilst Golden Eagle is a signature section of the men’s World Cup and World downhill course.
The mountain also has three snowparks and a halfpipe for riders to enjoy. Located at the lower part of the mountain at the Centennial Express lift, the Rodeo Park is the largest park in the resort and the most suitable for expert skiers, whilst Park 101 is more suited to beginner skiers.
