Located in Residence Myrtille, Apartment Tournesol is part of a collection of just seven apartments. Due to its 'ski-in' location, the apartment is popular with keen skiers who appreciate being able to ski directly back to the front door, whilst the foot of the Solaise piste is an easy stroll away in the morning.

Being just a five-minute walk from the Old Town of Val d’Isere, Tournesol enjoys a quieter setting, yet is close to the resort’s many shops, bars and restaurants.

Elegantly designed, this 134m² apartment features an open-plan living and dining area with Alpine-style decor, comfortable seating, a contemporary fireplace, and a large flat-screen TV. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and doors opening onto a private terrace with views of La Face piste.

Apartment Tournesol can accommodate eight guests across four double en-suite bedrooms. Three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, and one has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. All of the rooms have TVs.

Guests can store their ski equipment in the heated ski and boot room at the entrance to the building. The apartment also had its own utility room. There is a covered parking space for one vehicle.

Location

Part of the Myrtille Residence, the apartment is conveniently located a short walk from the Old Town and the foot of the Solaise piste. You can ski back directly to the front door.

Distance to Piste: Ski-in via the blue Traversée du Laisinant
Distance to Ski Lifts: 1-minute drive/9-minute walk to Laisinant chairlift or 2-minute drive/7-minute walk to the main village lift hub.
Distance to Val d'Isere Centre: 7-minute walk or 2-minute drive

Insider Insights

Location & Access:

The piste back to the chalet is relatively flat and requires a bit of momentum, which can make it more challenging for snowboarders and younger children.
Apartment Tournesol is fully wheelchair accessible, with the exception of one ensuite bathroom.

The apartment can be rented together with Lorenzo, located in the same building, allowing accommodation for up to 14 guests in total.
