Enjoy the Alps this summer from one of our favourite secluded summer chalets. From the South Tyrolean Dolomites to the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria, these mountain escapes are sure to create the perfect base to enjoy the numerous activities available this summer.

Luxury Villa Gella in Bulgaria

Set in an area of outstanding beauty in the Rhodope Mountains, Villa Gella has a wonderfully private location at the end of a winding no-through road. Spanning one thousand square metres, this stunning retreat is flooded with summer sun thanks to its eight large French windows in the living room that open out onto a spacious terrace with a jacuzzi. From here, guests can enjoy the outdoor dining area with 280-degree views over the surrounding mountains and countryside. Come evening, Villa Gella also has an outdoor seating area set around a fire-pit.

Following a day of summer activities, unwind in Gella’s exceptional spa complete with 10-metre indoor jet swimming pool, a steam room, a gym with free-weights and two showers. Sleeping up to 12 guests, this spectacular chalet has six superb individually designed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.

With an exclusive location, Chalet Zermatt Peak is set into the side of the mountain with unrivalled panoramic views across the village of Zermatt. Accessed via a private tunnel, this spectacular chalet offers six floors of luxury living with a combination of glass, wood and stone used throughout. Whilst the chalet has a fully-fitted kitchen, Chalet Zermatt Peak also has a second outdoor kitchen perfect for al-fresco dining on the external terrace.

The wellness facilities of Chalet Zermatt Peak are second to none with sliding doors opening onto the terrace used to transform the bespoke internal Jacuzzi into an outdoors one. In addition to the stunning jacuzzi, the property also has a bio steam room and both dry Finnish and wet Swedish sauna options. With five opulent bedrooms, Zermatt Peak is able to accommodate a maximum of ten adults and three children in complete luxury.

Cesa del Louf in summer

Also located in Alta Badia, Cesa del Louf is a private mountain retreat with a stunning wellness area and mesmerising mountain views. Surrounded by pastures and woodland, Cesa del Louf has an isolated setting yet is just 700m from Arabba in the heart of the Dolomites. With a private heli-pad, anyone who wishes to fly to the chalet can land directly in front of the property. A combination of two internally connected buildings Maso and Masetto, the chalet’s wrap-around balcony and terraces on two sides provide access to the staggering views.

Following a day exploring the Dolomites, guests can enjoy the private spa of the chalet which includes a sauna and Turkish bath, as well as an indoor pool featuring counter-current. Able to accommodate 10 guests, this stunning property has five spacious suites.

Surrounded by forest, Alpine Retreat is located in a peaceful area on the sunny side of the valley known as L'Ele. With an alpine stream running past the chalet, this beautiful property offers a tranquil setting, yet is within walking distance to the resort centre of Morzine. Set over three floors, Alpine Retreat has an open-plan living room with floor-to-ceiling windows giving access to a spacious terrace and swimming pool.

New for winter 2020/21 Alpine Retreat also now has a fantastic outdoor area with a jacuzzi, fire pit and garden area- perfect for unwinding after a long day experiencing summer in the French Alps. Able to accommodate up to 10 guests, Alpine Retreat has five beautiful en-suite bedrooms.

Ferme de Moudon in summer

An intensely private chalet, Ferme de Moudon can be found in the hamlet ‘Moudon’ at the end of a quiet lane. A three hundred-year-old farm house, Ferme de Moudon has been transformed by a talented designer to create an elegant chalet with many of the original features having been preserved.

The highlight of the property is the stunning newly built spa terrace complete with a heated pool, fire pit and hot tub. Complete with stunning mountain views, Ferme de Moudon is able to accommodate 12 guests across four floors with five spectacular bedrooms.

With an idyllic location perched high above the Alpbachtal Valley, Chalet Bischofer Alm is surrounded by stunning mountain peaks and provides spectacular views. Comprising two residential buildings and a restaurant/event building, Chalet Bischofer Alm also has an incredible spa complete with three types of sauna: Finnish, organic-vital or infrared, as well as a steam bath and a jacuzzi.

Ideal for large groups looking for space and tranquility in the Tyrolean mountains, the large sun terrace is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or dinner whilst admiring the mountain views. Able to accommodate 20 adults, the minimum occupancy of the chalet is 12 people.
