Additionally, summer visitors can take advantage of hiking, mountain biking, and climbing trails with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.

A must-try activity is the Feeblitz toboggan, where you can speed down the mountain at up to 40km/h! For further excitement, Saas Fee also has a summer rope park which features courses for both adults and children.

Golfers can practise their swing on the driving range and artificial green at the Kalbermatten sports field, or test their skills on the 6-hole course set in alpine terrain.

How to get to Saas Fee

Saas Fee is easy to reach from anywhere in Switzerland. Direct trains run from all major Swiss cities to Visp, where you can reach the Saas Valley in just 50 minutes by taking Bus 511. Alternatively, we can arrange a private transfer for you.

The train journey from Zurich, Geneva, and Basel takes about three hours, and from Bern, just two. If you’re driving, there is ample parking at the multi-storey car park at the village entrance.

For those flying in, Sion is the nearest airport at 1 hour 20 minutes by car, but Geneva is often more convenient, with a 2 hour 30 minute drive to Saas Fee.
